This is my first time featuring a campus designer so I decided to start with one of the best, Dorian Kirkwood. He is an extremely talented student at Howard University who launched his clothing line during his sophomore year in college, Living Legends. I featured his newest collection "Trill Winter" and paired his pieces with a few of my own items. Dorian is proof that you are never too young to dream big. I am definitely a big fan of Living Legends and the brand is extremely popular on Howard University's campus. If you want to be a designer, entrepreneur, etc, stop waiting to be who you already are. Chase your dreams!

More about the designer...

"What inspired you to create Living Legends?"

"In high school, I worked at DTLR and I would see clothes coming in the store and felt like I could make something better. I also wanted to find a way to inspire people to chase their dreams and become a role model for young people on their grind. One day I lucked up and got photoshop for free from a close friend and now we're here."

What advice do you give aspiring designers and entrepreneurs?

"Don't let anybody tell you that you can't do it. Don't let anybody tell you that you or your ideas aren't good enough. Just go for it!"

Where do you see your brand in five years?

"I want my expand from way more than t-shirt, crewnecks, and hoodies. I plan on turning Living Legends into an upscale brand where high fashion meets street style."
